Not gonna lie, I was totally skeptical about this one. And not just about the ‘metabolism -boosting benefits’ (which I’m still skeptical about, TBH, though this article from Organics.org gives some insight as to why folks are doing it.). But it turns out coconut oil in coffee actually tastes good. Call me converted. Here’s what I did today:
After brewing your normal cup of coffee, and before adding sugar and cream, add a teaspoon or two of coconut oil and carefully pour it into a blender, cover and blend until smooth. The coconut oil becomes creamy, as opposed to oily. Creamy and delicious.
Pro tip: I get a little mad at how expensive coconut oil is. May I recommend buying it at discount stores like TJ Maxx? I use a lot of it (not just in coffee), so the less expensive I can find it, the better.

This mini milk frother could eliminate the need for pulling out the blender on the daily.
